Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Craftingwoods Atelier Private Limited (brand: Woodeon) uses cookies and similar technologies on woodeon.in, and how you can control them. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device (or a similar identifier stored in local browser storage) to remember information between visits — for example, that you are signed in, what is in your cart, or how you prefer the site to appear.
Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary — the sign-in cookies next-auth.session-token.storefront and next-auth.csrf-token (and their __Secure- variants), which keep you signed in and protect sign-in against CSRF. They are set when you sign in and cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in and checkout.
- Browser storage we use for the shop itself (not cookies, never sent to us unless you sign in): your cart, your guest wishlist (woodeon:wishlist:v1), recently viewed pieces (woodeon-recent), and your cookie-consent choice (woodeon_consent), which we ask you to renew every 6 months.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 measurement cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that count visits, pages, and conversions in aggregate. Set only after you accept them through the cookie banner.
- Marketing — we do not run any marketing or advertising pixels today. If we add one (for example the Meta Pixel), it will load only after you accept marketing cookies, and this policy will list it first.
Third-party cookies
- Razorpay — sets its own cookies inside the payment iframe/checkout to process payments securely (PCI-DSS scope).
- Google (Analytics 4) — analytics cookies described above.
- Cloudinary — may set cache-control cookies while serving product images.
Retention
Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies used for preferences and analytics expire between 30 days and 24 months from their last update, depending on the cookie. You can clear them any time from your browser settings.
Managing your consent
You can accept or decline optional cookies from the cookie banner shown on your first visit. To change your choice later, use the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page. Declining analytics or marketing cookies does not affect your ability to browse, add to cart, or check out.
Browser controls
All modern browsers let you view, delete and block cookies through their Settings > Privacy panel. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break the cart, sign-in and checkout. Instructions vary by browser — search "manage cookies" in your browser's help centre.
Do Not Track
We currently do not respond to browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals, because DNT has no consistent industry standard. Your cookie-banner choice is the authoritative signal we honour.
